Welcome to Insight for LivingThe Bible-Teaching Ministry of Charles R. Swindoll
As Jesus approached Jericho, a blind man was sitting by the roadside begging. When he heard the crowd going by, he asked what was happening. They told him, "Jesus of Nazareth is passing by." He called out, "Jesus, Son of David, have mercy on me!" Those who led the way rebuked him and told him to be quiet, but he shouted all the more, "Son of David, have mercy on me!" Jesus stopped and ordered the man to be brought to him. When he came near, Jesus asked him, "What do you want me to do for you?" "Lord, I want to see," he replied. Jesus said to him, "Receive your sight; your faith has healed you." Immediately he received his sight and followed Jesus, praising God. When all the people saw it, they also praised God.

Easter

Easter"Christ is Risen!"
"He's risen indeed!"

Easter is more than chocolate eggs and Easter egg hunts. It's a time to focus on the death and resurrection of Jesus Christ. It's a time when we should recommit our lives to serving the Lord Jesus. It's a time to ask for forgiveness and seek to reconcile us with God.

Christmas

ChristmasChristmas is an important time on the Christian calendar as we celebrate the birth of Jesus Christ. Over the past 100 years or so, this day of annual celebration has become known more for its extravagant gift-giving, than the celebration of God’s gift, His son.

New Year

New YearThe New Year has begun. You've probably just returned from summer holidays and are facing the start of the school term in only a few weeks. Now is the time to get organized. How do we maintain our Christian focus and become stronger in our walk with the Lord?
