Welcome to Insight for LivingThe Bible-Teaching Ministry of Charles R. Swindoll
As Jesus approached Jericho, a blind man was sitting by the roadside begging. When he heard the crowd going by, he asked what was happening. They told him, "Jesus of Nazareth is passing by." He called out, "Jesus, Son of David, have mercy on me!" Those who led the way rebuked him and told him to be quiet, but he shouted all the more, "Son of David, have mercy on me!" Jesus stopped and ordered the man to be brought to him. When he came near, Jesus asked him, "What do you want me to do for you?" "Lord, I want to see," he replied. Jesus said to him, "Receive your sight; your faith has healed you." Immediately he received his sight and followed Jesus, praising God. When all the people saw it, they also praised God.

Excellence in Ministry: Finishing Well - Doing What's Best in the Challenges of Ministry

Easter greets the Australian public by the end of January each year, regardless of the number of weeks until the actual day. Hot Cross buns, Easter eggs and the now famous Australian Easter Bilby, herald the coming of the first holiday break of the New Year. It also coincides with the start of the footy season and the encroaching coldness of winter.

Sadly, Easter has become a festival of chocolate for many rather than a time to remember the sacrifice Jesus Christ gave for us, that we may have eternal life. And while the excitement of Easter morning has been overshadowed by the traditional egg hunt, many members of us wake up Easter morning to the cry ‘He is Risen,” acknowledging the empty tomb with a celebration of Christ’s resurrection.

Easter is a sacred and holy time. It provides an opportunity once again for every Christian to share their faith in Jesus Christ.

We pray you will enjoy the range of articles, messages and activities as you remember the importance of Easter this year.
