Bill Butterworth, Program Host

Bill Butterworth is an award-winning speaker and author with nearly 40 titles to his name. Whether it’s a Fortune 500 company, professional sports team, or a family conference, Bill’s extraordinary ability to blend humor, storytelling, wisdom and practicality has resonated with a wide range of audiences across the globe. 

For close to 30 years Bill has traveled full-time speaking to hundreds of audiences, including Fortune 500 clients such as Microsoft, Walt Disney, Ford, Chrysler, Bank of America, and Verizon, as well as over 50 professional sports teams in the NFL, NBA, and Major League Baseball.

Beyond speaking, Bill has authored over three-dozen books as a writer and a ghostwriter. His latest contribution is a book entitled Everyday Influence. Other authored titles include such classics as Balancing Work and LifeBuilding Successful TeamsThe Short List, and The Promise of the Second Wind.

Before his speaking and writing career took shape, Bill taught at the college level for 13 years and was a counselor for 6 years.

 

 

Don McMinn, Worship Leader

Don serves as the senior associate pastor of arts and administration at Stonebriar Community Church in Frisco, Texas. Through the years, he has enjoyed writing, teaching, counseling, and consulting. He has written in the areas of music and worship, relational theology, emotional health, and leadership development. Don enjoys communicating thoughts that inspire people to look at things with a new perspective. You can read his blog at donmcminn.com. Don and his wife, Mary, savor opportunities to travel together, appreciate art, and experience fine culinary establishments. They have two grown daughters, two grandchildren, and a “man’s best friend” named Buddy.

 

 

Reg Grant, Dramatist

Dr. Reg Grant is our cruise dramatist and will bring the Bible characters to life! He currently serves as Senior Professor and chair of the Department of Media Arts and Worship at Dallas Theological Seminary. He teaches courses in preaching, drama, voice, creative writing, and literary studies. Over the last 50 years, he has taken his Bible Character performances and teaching across the United States, Canada, and into Central America, England, and Europe. Reg has written, produced, and acted for radio, television, theater, and film. Two of his films have won Emmys, several have been nominated, and two have received the coveted Golden Apple award for best educational film in America. 

Reg and his wife, Lauren, have three grown children, Rosalyn, Gabe, and Nick, and three grandchildren. Lauren serves as a CASA volunteer for abused and neglected children, and enjoys babysitting their new granddaughter, “Charlie.” They live in Garland, Texas, and enjoy “cowboying up” on their south Texas ranch.
