The Wisdom Books
The five Wisdom books—Job, Psalms, Proverbs, Ecclesiastes, and Song of Songs—display a rich heritage of wisdom, poetry, and creativity from God's people. In this part of the Bible, we find a collection of songs, prayers, and proverbial statements, and most of all, we find a deep desire to understand God and how to live well in the world.
